IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL LEVELS
  1. Ensure you register your skater (and not yourself) for the event.
  2. Ensure you enter the correct age (skaters age as of Jul 1, 2025). For example, if your skater is 10 on June 30, 2025, their age should be entered as 9.
  3. The Success Package outlines important coaching rate information that pertains to competition attendance. 
  4. The Competition Preparation Package outlines important event attendance expectations, including grooming and attire.

  • Skaters should be fully dressed in competition attire and at the rink 45-60 minutes prior to their first event
  • 45 min prior to their on-ice warm-up time:
    Skaters are to meet coaches in the Rink 1 lobby. One or more coaches will likely be available to assist with off-ice warm-up. In the event that no coach is available, skaters are expected to complete their own off-ice warm-up. 
  • Skaters in STAR 2 and up events must show their flash drive to the coach doing the off-ice warm-up. If skaters warm-up independently, their flash drive will be shown to the coach putting them on the ice.
  • Skaters will need to put their skates on 15 minutes prior to their start time

All Vancouver Island Regionals competitors are strongly encouraged to take part in the Friday January 16th Competition Simulation, which serves as a “dress rehearsal” for the competition.
