About the Campbell River Skating Club

The Campbell River Skating Club was established in 1972 on beautiful Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. The Strathcona Gardens Recreation Complex is home to the Campbell River Skating Club.

Campbell River Skating Club is a non-profit organization, operating in accordance with the rules, regulations and policies of Skate Canada. Our organization is committed to providing exceptional Skate Canada skating programs for skaters of all ages and skill levels.

Campbell River's club coaches are trained and certified by Skate Canada and the National Coaching Certification Program. Our coaches are dedicated, knowledgeable and strive to ensure that the needs of all skaters are fulfilled in a fun and challenging atmosphere.

Campbell River Skating Club depends on hard-working volunteers in charge of administrative, promotional and developmental facets, including our Board of Directors. Board members oversee operational duties, organize assessment days, competitions, special events, ice shows and fundraising activities.

Our club welcomes skaters of all ages and abilities, from preschoolers to adults. We offer programs for all ice sports, from recreation to competition, including Skate Canada’s flagship CanSkate learn-to-skate program, STAR figure skating, and PowerSkate for hockey and ringette. Check out our range of programs to learn more or sign up.

Let's skate, Campbell River!
