The Coaching Team
Tara graduated from Camosun College with a Bachelors Degree in Athletic and Exercise Therapy in 2015. As a Certified Athletic Therapist, Tara has spent many hours in and around arenas and fields working with various athletes. She has had the privilege to work with Junior hockey athletes in both BC and Alberta, and many teams in the Canadian Sport School Hockey league.
She fell in love with the field of athletic therapy and personal training in her teenage years while playing soccer and seeing success with injury prehab and training in the gym. Seeing the smiling faces when the athletes achieve something new, or celebrating when they can lift more or jump farther brings her joy. One of her fondest memories of working with athletes was winning a hockey tournament in Detroit with one of her female teams.
Tara is passionate about her career and is willing to do whatever it takes to achieve her goals. Tara loves being outdoors and exploring all that this gorgeous island has to offer. You can find Tara at a beach looking for sea creatures or hunting for the next best waterfall with her husband in her spare time.
